RUST BUSTER

Cyndan Rust Buster penetrates the pores of the rust and bonds to the metal substrate beneath.   It encapsulates and neutralizes the rust and forms a molecular bond with both the rust and the substrate. It dries clear, leaving a solid, pore-free surface which prevents further corrosion for up to 8 years.

Cyndan Rust Buster can be applied directly onto grossly rusted or clean metal surfaces with little to no surface preparation required.  It’s UV resistance means that it is an all in one product with no need for further UV top coats.   It can be left in it’s final state or painted over with desired colour. 

Cyndan Rust Buster will repair and protect marine vessels, steel roofs, silos, bridges, containers, structural steel, pipelines and can be applied to metals that are immersed in water (when overcoated with a suitable paint).  It also acts as a rust preventing waterproof membrane when applied to new or non corroded metal surfaces. 

Cyndan Rust Buster can be used as an additive to oil based paints, if painting is required post treatment, and the surface can be painted without the need for a primer.   It also restores powder coated and painted metallic surfaces to their original sheen.
